Is it possible to remove the manufacturer name from the product detail page?

Yes, you can easily remove the manufacturer from product details, and a bunch of other settings by going to the easycart admin -> basic settings panel. This is when you are logged into wordpress admin of course. There you can turn off various settings, social icons, etc.
