put product category boxes on home page?

hello, on the homepage I do not want to see images of specific purchaseable products. Instead I would like to see product category choices of 6 to 8 categories. the viewer would then click a category choice to open the page listing all the products. woo commerce allows 3 product category and I want to see all my categories. hope I have explained this well. will easycart do this with a compatible theme? much thanks for your replies

Our product page is designed to show products, not any sub-categories and then products... but the easiest way to do this and have a lot of control over the design is to just use a wordpress page, make it how you like images of the categories, pictures of the category, etc... then just use URL links to the categories in easycart.
