    Hi
    I am a new user to WP EasyCart so if I missed relevant in other topics - my apologies!

    I would like to add extra fields when a customer creates an account to capture needed information. We are selling educational products and events, so the children's ages and nutritional information needs to be captured in the customer (parent) account.

    Is there a way of creating fields to be entered at the point of registration? or a work around of linking the account to a custom form?

    Hello:

    so there is no way to add extra elements on checkout, those are pretty payment processor centric. But on each product, you can have options that are very flexible, and useful for this type of information. You can add options such as text boxes, text areas, pull downs, etc... and this allows you to build a sort of 'form' on the product, the user fills in all the necessary information, then adds to the cart and checks out. You can easily add ages, nutritional information needs, etc...
