Need Help with Shipping Options

Newbie at WP Easy Cart needs help configuring shipping options. Many of our products we offer free shipping to the lower 48 US states. Some of our products have to be shipped by truck freight for an additional cost; in which the cost can can vary by the product type. How is the easiest way to set up the shipping options in which the customer have only (1) type of shipping option that is applicable for that product? Any help would be appreciated.

If you have to have shipping for each product separate, then what about making an option set on the product so they select the type of shipping they want and then checkout. Most are cart level shipping systems, so no way to really break it down there by product. We also have a handling fee at the product level, so you could add a product specific handling fee and that all gets added into shipping at the cart when checking out. some use that to setup product specific shipping that does show in the cart as a collective cost.
