Is there a way to do Advance Sales?

I'm not sure how to phrase this, but I'm wondering if there is a way to offer a future product, which would allow people to pre-purchase, but not have the payment go through until I 'release' the product. In other words, say I am going to offer product xyz, but it is only economically feasible if I can sell 50. I put the word out to see if enough people are interested and people would sign up and give there credit card info which wouldn't be run immediately. If there are not enough people, the product is cancelled...if there are enough pre-sold, the payments are put through without people having to be re-contacted and asked to go back to the website to pay. I'm currently using PayPal Standard.

So there is no way to hold the card info... That is all done by the processor gateways you select and then it is gone. We do not save any credit card information in EasyCart, and for good reason for your security and liability.
