  • Easycart product errors

an SSL is being applied to our domain and an error is just started to show up. Main home page is OK but when anyone goes to one of the new products added recently an error is displayed saying the page is not secure. The website is running as an Addon domain to the hosting account main domain. When the "not secure" error happens the domain name changes to the subdomain name. The hosting company support guys say they can see product links that contain the subdomain rather than the secure domain. question is can we deactivate the easycart plugin then re-activate it without loosing data for the shop, products, orders etc..?

This problem was cured by our hosting company the SSL certificate had an error and was not covering all pages. Also the Addon domain name was cured by changing all the occurrences in the database (phpmysql) to the live domain name so all problems here have been cured.

To answer your first question, you can deactivate the plugin and activate... it will not lose any data... but deleting and reinstalling will of course. glad you got SSL sorted out.
