  • Customer entered an invalid email address - how to ensure email is correct

Is there a way of us getting a correct email address when a customer registers a new account, we have had a number of orders where the customer email has turned out to be wrong in some way. so far we ave contacted these customers via Paypal but as not every customer uses paypal this is not always possible. So what we would like to do is somehow validate an entered email address at the time of registration. Is this possible some how please?

This is done through the setting in the WP EasyCart -> Settings -> Account, 'enable email validation'.

Thank you for the reply. Question; is the validation done before the order is completed?

To clarify this... This does not apply to guest checkouts. If you need every email verified, you need to require a user to create an account, then the user would have to verify their account prior to checking out. Guest checkouts can be turned off in the WP EasyCart -> Settings -> Checkout
