  • Third Party Pending but Paypal has the money in our summary

Why are we getting this; This has happened since we switched over to Paypal Express - Paypal has the funds in our account so why is Easycart not saying Third Party Approved like it did/does on all previous orders before Paypal Express?
    Any help appreciated.
    Many Thanks

So do we need to do anything more for this support ticket? baring in mind our support ticket system has expired!

So if we get involved with a person logging in and troubleshooting your server, you have to have active support to put in a ticket... with expired support, we are limited in what we can do with no ticket and such.

In terms of just troubleshooting, basic steps help here... possibly deactivate all your other plugins and try an order. Perhaps it's a conflicting plugin, we have seen other paypal IPN plugins installed at the same time conflict, we have see woocommerce conflict... just hard to really troubleshoot an individual system like this unless we have a ticket though on the matter at this point. You can try some of those steps though yourself, see if you can get an order testing correctly for you by using those basic troubleshoot steps.

          Looking for the Paypal IPN URL but cannot find it in Easycart, I was thinking of re-entering it in our Paypal account to see if this cures our missing Approved status. The attachment is what I see in Easycart and I cannot see where the IPN Notification URL is;

Do you do a single support ticket process/payment option to resolve 1 problem?

I would recommend updating to the latest release, 4.0.43, and see if the problem persists. Hopefully this has been resolved for those having this issue in this version.

WP-Easycart is already 4.0.43 whereas WP-Easycart Pro is on 4.0.42

The IPN should no longer be needed with PayPal Express. Instead PayPal has switched to the more modern approach of a 'webhook', in which we automatically subscribe to the webhook that will send updates to a script on your site and update order statuses automatically.

If this is not working, it is likely the webhook was not subscribed to properly or an error occurred and in which case you can try the older method of an IPN listener, which is always at: http://www.yoursite.com/wp-content/p..._completed.php -- be sure to change http:// to https:// if your site always redirects to a secure URL and www. can be removed if you do not normally display your URLs with a www.

We believe the webhook method had a bug and was fixed in the most recent version.

Lastly, the EasyCart and PRO plugins may temporarily become mis-matched in the case that there are no changes in one plugin or the other. In the next update of the PRO plugin we will make the versions match once again.

We are having the same problem even though we updated to the latest update Version 4.0.46 both on easycart & pro

have lodged a support ticket but have not heard anything at this stage.
Checked IPL on both PayPal & easy cart, all seems ok
Anybody got an answer for this?

If you are using the latest plugin, I recommend everyone go to their settings -> payment page and under paypal express setup, if you have created your own 'App' on paypal and setup your credentials manually, switch this by clicking the 'Back to One-Click Express Setup' and run through the one click method of setup to correct some issues here with PayPal. we are finding the one-click setup process is more reliable right now...

We don't want to use PayPal express and we just want the system to keep working as it was.
We are using the latest plugin so what has happened to break it ?

                          Hello:

You can still use paypal standard, where customers leave your site. Just enable paypal in the third party area, and do not enable paypal express. You will see a warning that it may go away eventually, but right now paypal standard still works fine. PayPal is pushing hard for their newer integration which is the paypal express system, if you do enable paypal express, the warning to upgrade your paypal will also go away.
