  • URGENT - we have lost shipping rate - URGENT

    Our shipping rate which is weight triggered is not working every order is getting a zero shipping rate
    Please advise where to look and restore weight trigger shipping.
    we have not changed any of our weight triggers recently.
    Only change made was to do with invoicing which has now been turned off again.

      Cured our problem, Not exactly sure how we did it either but we are all working again - SO PANIC OVER. Thanks for looking.

        In case anyone experiences this issue again, some points to look at:

        1. Is Your Product Shippable? This can be turned off in the product, shipping options, enable shipping. If this is off, no shipping will appear.
        2. Shipping Zone Enabled? If this is enabled on the rate, the user has to enter a matching location. This means a couple things:
        a. Shipping rate will NOT appear on the first cart page.
        b. If you allow a free input for state or country, the user could enter something that does not match your zone values. E.g. Shipping rate for CA, US and the user enters California or United States, this wouldn't match and rate would not apply.
        3. Is Free Shipping Set? If this is greater than 0.00, free shipping could apply for this rate.
        4. Do multiple shipping rates apply? Sometimes multiple rates will apply by accident, causing the lower rate to be selected.

        I hope this helps if anyone runs into this again. Most common issue with zones is issue #2, where you see no shipping on page 1 of the cart or before you enter a rate (or enter info for rate estimate).
