Change Storefront layout

[Little Metal Foxes]

I want to change my storefront layout out to look something like this custom store page. With the custom store page, I have to manually update the products and it would save me some headache to be able to have it automatically add/subtract products. Is there a way to do this, and what files do I need to edit to achieve this.
