Changing the default order

Hey all,

I'm not sure if this is somewhere in the documentation or not but after searching around I haven't had much luck finding any information.

Is there a way to change the default order of how products display on the page. Like, instead of "Newest" being the default order, is there a way to automatically sort by price without a user having to change the option themselves when they get to my site?

might try settings -> products....

If you don't use the 'default sort order' then you can't go to the store pages while logged into wordpress and customize the order that way.
