Is this setup to automatically email the customer when an order is placed? Is there a place in my dashboard where I can preview/edit the emails? Also, am I able to integrate MailChimp? Thanks in advance.

Emails are dispatched from easycart upon an order. If you use paypal standard, you must follow the payment infomration directions and setup an IPN for it to talk back and send out, but all our live gateeways send out emails immediately. If you feel you test it and no emails are going out, you have a few options...
1. go to advanced settings and turn 'Use WP Mail Method' to ON...
2. Install an SMTP Plugin to send authenticated email, which is more reliable.
3. If you want, you could also try our mandrillapp.com email extension for sale in our extension marketplace... this allows you to check open, sent, clicked statuses and resend. Very reliable method.
We are not integrated with mailchimp... mandrillapp.com is actually used by many of the big players as their mail servers, at a fraction of the cost.
