Can't enter coupon or gift card get forever "Please Wait" message

Is anyone getting an error when a coupon is entered? All I get is a Please Wait message in the shopping cart and the coupon is not applied. Same error with gift card and estimated shipping. Version 3.3.7

This is most likely due to older v2 templates or custom templates being used and the plugin upgrading. If you visit the easycart admin -> design file management area, you may have custom layouts there. If you have it set to 'No Child Theme' for both layout and theme, then you will use the newest and most updated template files all the time.

It's safer to do this and then add custom changes via CSS in our advanced settings. They are retained and your updates are always current automatically. But if you must have a custom layout, then you need to update them manually all your changes each time. Works just like wordpress themes and child theme files.
