Can't add United Arab Emirates (UAE) to our country list

I have a customer who is from United Arab Emirates (UAE), but he can't find his country from the drop down country list. Then I tried to add it on the list, but I got error message that the country name can only be 2 characters, for this country, it's 3 characters. Please see my screenshot for details. Is there any ways that I can add this country on the list? Any advice will be much appreciated.
