Sort by SKU in Product page?

I'm setting up a rather large product catalog using WPEasyCart pro, and really need to be able to sort products by SKU. Right now I can sort by WP ID, Product name etc, but... my SKUs are numeric and unrelated to the product names or the WP ID assigned to each line item. Maybe I'm being a numpty here, but I don't see any way to add SKU as a visible column in Products or any way to sort by SKU (searching by single SKU or wildcard isn't enough). Is this possible? Have a missed something in the setup/config somewhere?
