How to setup a 'Choose up to' option set...

How can I set it up to have something like 10 options but a customer can only choose up to 5?
ie I am a chocolatier doing preorders for things like gift boxes of chocolate bark. They come with three flavors in them, but a customer can choose from a variety of 10 flavors. When I set up each flavor it ends up with a really ugly long page where you have to scroll through all 10 options three separate times. I'd like to have one checkbox list and the customer chooses three only. Am I missing this setup feature somewhere? Thank you!

So the best solution here is to make 5 options... advanced combo boxes. You can add as many options inside these 5, such as your 10 choices of chocolate.... This way the user can select a different choice in all 5 combo boxes... and each of the 5 combos can have unlimited choices....
