    Hello,
    is it possible to make that price on shop catalog would be with VAT? If i am selecting (VAT included) in the catalog is showing the same, price without VAT.

    If you go into easycart admin -> store admin -> rates -> manage taxes... where you setup taxes and VAT rate, there is an option to do it at the product level or cart level...

      Ok I think I can ask my question here. I have a product that will need to have CO only tax applied to it. I have mp3 downloads that DO NOT have any tax for them. I also want to offer my services and classes in my cart... those are NOT to be taxed. Will I have the ability to have TAX applied only to the one or specific products that require I collect CO taxes??

      also, will I have the ability to set up SHIPPING only for the Products that folks want shipped to them. Meaning, let's say they want to pay for my cards in my cart but they want to pick up the deck in person. Can I set up my cart so they choose if shipping applies? Or can I set up my cart for Domestic and International Shipping? Will I have the ability to separate out a handling charge ?

        I'm thinking with all these various options, it's better to build option sets on your product for these then, such as 'shipping, in-store pickup, etc.' otherwise the cart level shipping isn't really the place to split it out amongst products. As for taxes, we don't really have a way to do taxes for one product, and a different tax for others. You CAN turn tax off for a product, so some can have tax, others no tax, but not different tax per product... if that makes sense. Just go to the products advanced listing options and turn off the 'is taxable' selection for a product not requiring tax calculation.

          Hello JJones, I think I have done a great job of setting up my store. I have quite a few questions. I have not yet watched the video on setting up my shipping so will do that tomorrow. So far I have ONE product that needs to have shipping configured. I need to configure it for Domestic Shipping (flat rate right now) and International (flat rate). You mentioned above about having an option for 'in-store pickup;. I have not landed on that option yet.

          I have the following questions (and pardon me if I have not found the video for each of these)
          * How does a customer recover their password if they need to?
          * where do I find the Emails that will go out (confirmation of order, mp3 download, your order has shipped) etc so that I can customize them.
          * How can I send a test email to view these
          * How do I place some test orders so I can follow my entire purchase process? I saw something called Shadow Box but then could not figure out how to use it.
          * How do I set up an account as an Admin so that I can go in and change customer details as needed. Right now it appears as though everything I am doing is as demouser
          * I am using third party payment (paypal). It was suggested I have an IPN. I did the download that was suggested. THAT said to Test it.. but I have no idea HOW to test it... Then I am stuck on how I am supposed to link that IPN to Paypal.
          * Major Question... How can I allow a user to listen to say 4 mins of my Mp3 files so they know they like what they are hearing and want to purchase the Meditation?
          * How do I point a buyer to my SOUL Food Deck in the store from the info page? or say from Facebook. Here is the link to my info page

            I have a few more questions
            * in the demo video, when they are showing products, the list shows the image to the left of the product. I have not seen that happen with my products so was wondering if I missed turning an option on.
            * Is there any way to get my SOUL Food cards to list fist? I clicked on the 'feature this item' but can not really tell how that is changing things.
            ****** major question.. My website has a vertical navigation system. I had thought my store would show up with its own navigation so that I could have drop downs for categories. I am not seeing them at all, but I also think that is because I have a right widget area. So now I am thinking that my categories are useless.

            I think that is quite enough questions for one session. Yeah Nadine.

              Hello:

              There are a lot of questions there, but to test things, you should always put everything in live mode and checkout with a live credit card and product just like you would as a customer. It's really the only way to do final testing and since you are taking on the role of web developer on your site, it's critical to see the process through completely... this lets you see emails, processes, IPN workings, etc...

              Create accounts from within the wp easycart admin console section... any 'administrator' account works, and then you can remove the demouser account after you create your own.
              Customers recover passwords by going to the account page and clicking 'retrieve my password'.
              Having demo music is something you would need to work out on your website with pages, links to demo music, etc... and then links to buy can go to easycart. We do not have music players or demo music systems in our shopping system.
              Images to the left may be a different style of product display, view the store page while logged in and you will see our design sidebar on the left, it has different styles to experiement with.
              The best way to incororate navigation is to use wordpress appearances -> menus and you can add store items (cateogries, menus, products) into the menu and setup how you like. This way it uses native theme designs to link to those areas of the store. You can also use sidebars in your theme and add navigation using widgets if you wanted... lots of ways to design, but up to you how you want it to look.

                I am trying to set up shipping. Right now I need to set up a qty shipping for Domestic and International (until I know exact weights of my card deck)
                I have set up three qty
                1 $6.10
                7 $12.60
                14 $18.75

                those are the Flat Rates USPS service quoted me for a padded priority envelope that can hold 1-6 of my decks of cards.

                I still need to set up an International Shipping for 1-6 Cards. I was quoted $21 to Canada and $25 everywhere else for the same padded priority envelope.

                I watched your video on shipping and am still unclear.
                Am I to set up a new rate say at $21 and put the zone to Canada
                then set up one that is for $25, pull the United States and Canada out of the North America group?

                I feel like there is a better way to do this. I was not able to see the providence section you mentioned.

                  Another question Josh...
                  I have found the way to change images for Product on my Mac,iphone, and tablets. What I have not landed on , is how to change the image for Related Products. They are showing up HUGE... It would be great to have them be a very small image.

                    So shipping zones act as a post-address filter. IF there is a match, it will apply, otherwise, the default shipping rates will show. So if you use shipping zones, setup all the default shipping you want, it should cover all costs and all products. THEN, if you want special shipping to canada, then you need to create the entire canada shipping system that you want with them selected as a shipping zone. IF you want to have one to europe, then you have to recreate all shipping variables for them...

                    Now when a customer checks out, they will initially see the defualts int he cart, but then after they enter their shiping address and move to shipping screen, it will give more specific rates based on the zone data that easycart now has.

                    As for images being huge, maybe it's the theme taking over the images, CSS will need to be used to adjust things to fit your theme.

                      Hello Josh... I went back to the video on changing color, where you demonstrate how to find the CSS code to change color. I did this same process to see if I could find code that will help me adjust the 'related products' image size. When I use the search tool, I find the section for Related Products, however I see nothing in there that refers to px here is an image of what is happening on the desktop (and phone) for related product images.

                        New question.... I have been testing my mp3 dowloads. i have many with a $$ attached to them and some for free. Since I am testing, I used the free one. I have downloaded the file successfully, however the COUNT is not shifting on the front end for the customer, and in the backdoor it tells me that 0 have been downloaded. ex I see 0/3 even after downloading this with the URL received in an email multiple times. How do I adjust this count?
