I have 'custom post type linking' set to 'Off' because it mucks up my page links if turned on. However I have noticed that some of my pages use the custom post type url eg.
https://angelleadesigns.com/shop/aco...lique-template, and some pages don't eg. https://angelleadesigns.com/shop?model_number=14.
I'm also having an issue where some of my products don't show up in search (through the search widget on my website). It seems the products that use the custom post type link are the only ones that return search results.
And when I click on the product via the search results it takes me to the custom post type url (https://angelleadesigns.com/shop/aco...lique-template). However when I navigate to this same product via the Shop link the url that it displays is the non-custom post type one (https://angelleadesigns.com/shop?model_number=11).
Ideally I would like all my product urls to use custom post type linking as I'm trying to optimise my site for search engines. But if that is not possible I would at least like all my products to show up in search.
Does anyone know how I can fix this issue?
