  • Page not found, error 404

    Greetings,

I am getting an error 404, "Page not found", when I go to any of the pages for the shoppiing cart.

I put the short tags into the pages, and php.ini is configured to use the short code.

I keep on getting "Permalink Settings: Please check your permalink settings in the admin under "Settings"->"Permalinks". The WP EasyCart system currently works best with the post name permalink method"".

The permaling settings are set to post name.

    Here is my diagnostic data:

So you opened the 3 pages you created (store, cart, and account) in wordpress and entered the shortcode on those pages, such as ([ec_store], [ec_account], and [ec_cart]. then you went to the store settings menu and installation menu, here you linked it up to those 3 pages in wordpress and saved?

If that does not link it up, then you can always post up a URL here, we can look at it for you, see if we notice anything, or send a support ticket to us with your wordpress credentials and we can insure it's setup properly.

Those PHP failed checks can be fixed in your PHP.ini file by enabling those extensions by the way. They will need to be installed to operate correctly.

If I use "Default Permalinks" in the WordPress settings, the pages will show up. However, with the recommended "Post Name" they do not. Is there something I need to set in my php.ini or httpd.conf files? or maybe in the Wordpress conf file?

      the site is:
      http://ec2-54-212-57-239.us-west-2.c...naws.com/blog/

The store works because it is the default for blog, but the "Shopping Cart" and "My Account" links are not working.

Also, for the "Store Settings" page, I am getting the warning "Permalink Settings: Please check your permalink settings in the admin under "Settings"->"Permalinks". The WP EasyCart system currently works best with the post name permalink method.", even though post name permalinks are enabled.

I looked at the site, but it appears you have it working. I'm assuming this issue is fixed and you have the 3 pages connected to the easycart. I also see 3 items on the site, so besides a few small design changes, things look like they are installed and working. Please let me know if this is not what you see.

          Thanks

The site "works" but if "post name permalink" method is used and the URL's are rewritten, the pages cannot be found.

i.e. http://ec2-54-212-57-239.us-west-2.c...naws.com/blog/partners does not work, but http://ec2-54-212-57-239.us-west-2.c...og/?page_id=43 does (with default permalinks set)

Not sure I fully follow... the first link worked for me at the /blog/ address. the /partners doesn't work because the store is not on the partner page. The default ones will always work to, IF you have the page id like that, which is ok to use if it works on your server. We have some that it doesn't work on, but the postname method of permalinks seems to be more stable for us.

I've tried to log on with my own email and pw that i use for wordpress after ive already logged on with the demouser and set up an item in my store, but it wont work, it will let me back on the demouser account and the item in my store is still there, but I want to be able to sign in with my own email and pw. Ive looked 70-680 braindumps everywhere and the step by step instructions don't make it clear how to log on the second time with your own email and pw. Help!
