How to remove the word "blog" from the URL when product is clicked

When somebody clicks on a product in my store and it takes them to the description page, the URL gets formed as follows "sitename.com/blog/store/product" Why does this say "blog" and how do I get rid of it? Oddly, typing in "sitename.com/store/product" brings up the exact same page.
