Free Local Pickup

Our products are set on the Weight shipping method.
We have just enabled "Free Local Pickup" in Settings/Shipping Settings.
Question is does the Free local Pickup check appear on all locations/sales or does it only show in the same country as the Shop location?
How does this function actually work? (apart from the option appearing as a selection in the checkout shipping screen)

Yes, it will give it an option during checkout if enabled and it does appear for everyone... So it may or may not be what you are looking for. Best thing you can do is enable and see it in action as you test and checkout...

Can this text "Free Local Pickup" be changed somewhere, it would appear that some customers think that means "Local" to them and not us as the Shop?
