database error

I just purchased wp easy cart premium. I installed wp easy cart first then followed the directions to upgrade, but when I went to the dashboard, I have a message telling me there is a database error. Is it ok to delete both plugins and start from scratch in case I made a mistake in one of the steps?

Sure, you can remove both plugins... you will want to have 2 plugins installed, the WP easycart and the WP easycart PRO plugins when done....

but start from scratch won't hurt anything.
