  • "Missing the following wp-easycart-data folders"

    Hi guys,

I've just installed EasyCart on my WP site, went through the setup tutorial, and when I go to visit my store I get 'This site cannot be reached'.

When I check my 'Store Status', I have multiple errors, but I think the main one is the one in the title, about the data. I know that wp-easy-cart contains dummy data, but I chose not to install this and instead created my own product. (In my first install, I chose to import the data, but I completed deleted my WP install and began again).

Any idea why this error would be coming up, even when I have chosen not to import this folder?

    Many thanks

Solved now, I didn't realise I had to create these folders myself.

These folders should not need to be created, it means that your server or localhost is not setup correctly because file permissions for web server don't have ability to write and create folders. You can also check the wp easycart -> store status page and it has a few tests to see if it can write and read properly, but certainly a server setup on there that needs more permission access.
