Digital Downloads Stall and Don't Download

Hello! I just upgraded to the Pro version in order to offer digital downloads. In testing my first digital download, which is a PDF, when I click the "Download" button after my order, the page stalls on loading and the PDF never actually downloads. I'm self-hosting my PDF on my WordPress site using BlueHost as my server. My PDF is 1.7MB. I don't receive any errors. It simply just doesn't do anything. Has anyone else experienced this? What could be some possible causes? Thanks!

Update:
I tried it with a .zip file as well, and it still failed. When I use Chrome I see "Failed - Network Error". When I use Safari, it stalls and does nothing.

I also checked my php.ini file for memory_limit and I have 256MB as my memory limit, which should be large enough.
