Shipping Variants to drive pricing

I have a product where I want the customer to select one of the following:

A: Pickup in person (no shipping charged)

B: Ship the Product ($10.00 flat rate charged)

Can't figure out how to do this.

As an update - I have enable Free Local Pickup in the Store Settings and added a One-Time Handling Charge of $10.00 in the product shipping settings. It charges the $10 no matter what - I don't see a way to ask for Local Pickup in the checkout.

1. Create the 2 static shipping methods you want.
2. Make sure each product is actually a shippable item in your product settings.
3. Remove handling fees, that is always going to be added to a product and you don't want that.
4. You an also go to the settings -> checkout and make sure that you turn off the 'bypass shipping selection page'

I see what you are suggesting there, but what if I need to have a free local pickup or a different flat shipping rate assigned for each product?
