  • Option to show Title or not

Maybe a little detail, but it would be nice if we could choose whether or not to have the title of a product shown. In WP pages the option is there, so why not for products? Especially for us who bought the product are are getting tired of modding the code by ourselves.

How come there is so little activity in here? Is Easycart dying already?

Easiest solution is to use display: none with some CSS in our advanced options -> custom CSS to do this... rather than using child themes to do it... this way on an update, your changes are always saved AND you get the latest template files if we have some... child files are never updated, thus retaining your changes, but at some point you would have to upgrade your child files to have new features... using CSS to hide things is very simple though...

we try to make some switches easy, ON/OFF settings, but it can be a huge undertaking to do this and not the most code efficient if you can drop CSS to do what you want. But have a look in the easycart admin -> basic settings where we turn ON/OFF quite a few things like all the social icons, categories, manufacturers, breadcrumbs, etc...

          Hey Josh,
Might I gently suggest that you take a page from the Kriesi Support playbook - when someone asks a question that makes you want to type "use custom CSS," instead reply with the actual code we could copy/paste from here INTO our custom CSS (sometimes maybe a 'YOUR URL / PAGE NAME / ETC HERE' in there to make it generic enough).

That way you're hopefully answering everybody who has that question henceforth.

Thank you for a great product, and for being so attentive in the forums (and via email).
