It would be nice to be able to set special pricing on selected items. For example, having a discount code that sets the price to some value (say $2), no matter what its original price is. Right now I have to do that manually to each product.

That would require a fixed-price discount type rather than percentage or amount off. Does your platform support price overrides or custom discount rules via plugins or API?

If fixed-price discounts aren’t supported natively, a common workaround is using coupon logic with price override via API or a plugin. Which platform are you on, some like Shopify or WooCommerce can handle this with apps or custom rules?
